Event Details
Volunteers will be painting public school classrooms at
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic church in Chicago’s
Back of the Yards, an economically-challenged, Hispanic
immigrant neighborhood. Rental of the classrooms to
the local public school serves as an important source of
income for the parish. Please wear painting clothes.
Brushes, rollers, paint, and other equipment will be provided.
**Transportation is provided to the site, so check in to meet fellow volunteers at Roosevelt University first. Check in is at the Chicago campus. View the Schedule for details.
